Things like food offerings, for example, need to cater to anyone with religious or dietary requirements.

Not many people will party all night long, especially if they’ve had a busy working day. Everyone will have to relax eventually, and this means taking a journey home, while others might need to spend their night at a nearby hotel. 

You should consider making the options that are available clear for everyone who’s had enough and wants to go home. Where possible, you could provide transport home for members of staff. The best idea is to discuss options with everyone and figure out a solution that works for the whole team.

5. Do Book Great Entertainment

Good entertainment is the life of any party. Some great music can make you want to dance all night. You should spend time finding the best DJ that will keep the party mood going. An incredible DJ should be able to set the right mood for the party and keep it going all night long. 

You could also include live acts to make the party even more interesting. Oh, and don’t forget the dance floor. Ensure that the venue you’ve chosen has a dance space that is large enough to accommodate all the members of staff. 

6. Don’t Advocate Excessive Drinking

Having a free bar can be mistaken for condoning excessive drinking. No employer wants to be in a situation where they are liable for drunken misconduct from their employees. Having an open bar is not a good idea, especially when it’s an office Christmas party. Remember to make sure there are plenty of soft drinks on offer to include people who don’t drink alcohol.

The secret is trying to maintain a professional theme while still making it possible for everyone to have a good time. Make sure the food is cooked and prepared in plenty of time. You can always ask friends to bring a dish with them this will cut down the amount of stress you are going through to get everything sorted.

Use Paper Plates

Keep the clean-up simple, use recyclable cups, plates and cutlery. This will save you from the daunting pile of dishes in the morning.

Use decorations

Make the venue feel festive, add decorations inside and outside the venue. Start by putting some lights up this can make the venue look beautiful and stand out. Decide on a dress code
